About the designer
EPOC is honored and thrilled to be working with Erika Falconeri and her team of Ananda Design on the design and production of the official EPOC Scarves. We thank Erika for her support of our mission.
Miss Falconeri, a top international fashion model-turned-designer based in New York City, named her label “Ananda’ (a Sanskrit term meaning ‘bliss consciousness’) as it refers to the feeling you get from draping one of her featherweight cashmere, silks and linens, soft, luscious winter weight knits and wovens against your skin.
Falconeri, of Japanese and Italian decent, can truly be called a citizen of the world. She has traversed the globe making her mark on the catwalks and ateliers in the fashion capitals working with designers such as Giorgio Armani, Karl Lagerfeld, Versace and Jean Paul Gaultier to name a few…For more than a decade she was inspired and influenced by these innovators, which helped form her highly personal design vision.
The Ananda collection’s original design inspiration is represented by the intricate details of weaving, stitching, embroidery, prints and color palates – all limited production pieces, destined to become finishing statements for the best wardrobes and savviest clientele.
Miss Falconeri has successfully showcased her designs in New York since 1999. Ananda by Erika Falconeri pieces have been featured in magazines such as InStyle, Italian Vogue, Town & Country and Elle among others. Her collection is currently sold at specialty boutiques across the country and can be viewed in her Manhattan showroom by appointment.
